The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has announced a new ‘Call and Convert’ facility that enables its Credit Cardholders paying for education, health or insurance-related products andservices and for online purchases to convert transactions of Rs 10,000 and above into Easy Payment Plans.
The ‘Call and Convert’ facility only requires customers to call the Bank’s Contact Centre on 011 2 353353 withinseven days of a qualifyingpurchase and request a conversion. All Commercial Bank Credit Cardholders are eligible to enjoy this facility until the end of the year, the Bank said.
While Credit Card purchases above Rs 25,000 forHealth, above Rs 20,000 forEducational and above Rs 10,000 forselected online payments can be converted to a –six months Easy Payment Plan at no extra charge, Insurance premium payments above Rs 20,000 can be converted to an equated six-month instalment plan at a nominal fee.
