Perera & Sons (P&S), Sri Lanka’s foremost Quick Service Restaurant facility provider, recently reached a significant milestone in its long journey as it celebrated its 120th Anniversary. The occasion stands as a testament to the organization’s long standing commitment and history, in efforts to uplift the local community through its products, services and overall social responsibility.
In 1902, P&S started as a humble little bakery by K.A. Charles Perera from the remote southern village of Kodagoda. During the course of its successful 120 years, P&S has flourished from a single bakery store to a chain of over 180 outlets operating in 7 provinces around the island. The retail outlet takes pride in producing every great-tasting item of food on its list with care and with a continued commitment to quality. A pioneer and leader in bakery art, P&S has transformed from an era where products were sold door-to-door to becoming a household name sold across all corners of Sri Lanka, predominantly due to its rapid progression in automation, innovation and branch operations synchronizing simultaneously over time with its range of tasty products.
Commenting on the milestone anniversary,Gihan Perera, CEO/Managing DirectorofPerera& Sons stated, “The 120th anniversary is indeed a momentous occasion for us, and we are immensely proud and thankful to each member of our driving workforce for their passion, commitment and dedication leading up to this date.
