Prima donates essential medical equipment to Negombo District General Hospital

Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd., a subsidiary of Prima Group Sri Lanka, donated Rs. 2,500,000 worth of urgently required medical equipment to the District General Hospital in Negombo on 25^th June 2021.

As the battle to eradicate COVID 19 from the country continues, the donation comes as a timely act, one of many such initiatives carried out by Prima Sri Lanka. This donation was in response to the request made by the Negombo District General Hospital COVID facility.

The medical equipment was handed over to Dr. SudharshiniFernandupulle, State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID Disease Control and the Director of the Negombo District General Hospital, Dr. Nirmala Yoganadan by Mr. Shun Tien Shing – General Manager of Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd (Prima Group – Sri Lanka), together with Mr. SajithGunarathne – Deputy General Manager and Mr. W. A. Jayatisse – Assistant General Manager (General Affairs ) of Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd. of Prima Group, Sri Lanka.

Ceylon Agro Industries and Prima Group Sri Lanka have continued to support the national efforts in combating COVID 19 for the past year. This donation is one of the many such initiatives by the organization.
