Seven Media Group wins the coveted Grand Prix Award at SLIM DIGIS 2.0

Seven Media Group, the first Creative Digital Agency in Sri Lanka, racked up an impressive award haul at the recently held SLIM Digis 2.0, including the coveted Digital Marketing Grand Prix 2.0 Award, cementing their place as one of the leading advertising agencies in the country.

Seven Media’s excellent creative digital campaign work for the NDB Balance Transfer “Hirawelada” Campaign fended off competition from more than 140 entries, from over 40 competing multinational agencies and brands, to win the Digital Marketing Grand Prix Award, which is awarded to the agency that achieves the highest score in both the main awards category and the special awards category.

This award topped off a memorable night for the Creative Digital Agency, but the journey to this triumph started off with a Gold Award in the Banking and Finance Category for the NDB “Hirawelada” Campaign. Seven Media then struck Gold once again in the Special Award for Digital Brand Bravery, with the Best Performance Marketing Campaign Award for the NDB NEOS Mobile Banking Campaign, and they were also recognized for their contribution to the NDB Credit Card Campaign, emerging as Finalists.

Subodha Pilimatalawwe, CEO of Seven Media Group commenting on the wins had this to say “While it is an incredible feeling to win so many awards, I am very proud of my team for winning the award of the night, the one that truly matters, the Digital Marketing Grand Prix Award. The growth of Seven Media Group is God’s amazing grace and obtaining the Grand Prix Award is a testament to our hard-working team, who are constantly striving for perfection in the work they do, regardless of the challenges in their way. As an agency proudly made in Sri Lanka, we are so proud to have reached the pinnacle of Digital Marketing, as we expand globally. We are thankful to SLIM and all their sponsors for continuing this award platform, and I believe with the grace of God, Seven Media Group will continue to grow from strength to strength in a phenomenal way across Southeast Asia”.
